Demco Automation Sponsors Cancer Respite Foundation Event

For_Petes_Sake_LogoDemco Automation was pleased to be a Silver Sponsor for the 2nd Annual Dave Duemler Memorial Golf Outing. The event raised over $24,000 to benefit “For Pete’s Sake Cancer Respite Foundation”, a non-profit organization that assists adult cancer patients, their care-givers, and loved ones a break from cancer in a secure and comfortable environment.

This year, the foundation expects to serve 120 families, and over the past 15 years, more than 1,000 patients have been impacted by their dedicated efforts.

“For example, Demco’s Wedge® system consists of preconfigured workstations that slide interchangeably into standard rotary or linear base machines. The base machine is run by a small PLC, which doesn’t control the stations, but rather acts as a traffic cop, coordinating their activity.”
